Concrix started with two civil engineers who had spent years on opposite sides of the same problem. Adrian had run consultancy and contractor jobs for nearly a decade and kept asking the same question: since savings on manpower and machinery are limited, why not cut material costs by sourcing leftover stock at a lower price? Kelvin, a contractor and developer for almost as long, kept seeing usable materials thrown away as debris. He wondered why no one was reselling them to the contractors who actually needed them.

Different sites, same gap: some teams were overpaying for materials, others had good stock going to waste, and neither side had an easy way to find the other. That shared realisation became Concrix, a marketplace that gives surplus materials a second life and gives contractors a smarter, more affordable way to source what they need.
