Selling guide
Five ways to sell your surplus materials faster
Concrix Team
Small things that get more enquiries: better photos, honest condition, realistic pricing and clear pickup details.
1. Photograph in daylight
A clear, well-lit overview shot does more than any description. Take one wide photo so buyers can gauge the quantity, then a close-up of the typical condition.
2. Be honest about condition
Listings that flag defects up front get better-quality enquiries and fewer time-wasters. Buyers trust a fair description far more than a flawless-sounding one.
3. Price for a quick sale
Surplus is about recovering cost, not chasing retail. Price against what new would cost a buyer and leave a little room to agree.
4. Give a real pickup location
Buyers filter by distance. A clear district or town means the right nearby buyers see your listing first.
5. Reply quickly
Most deals go to whoever responds first. Enquiries come straight through Concrix. A fast reply keeps the buyer from moving on to the next listing.
